The Student Opportunity Initiative is a collaboration between the Aliko Dangote Foundation (“ADF”) and the Federal Ministry of Education, designed to promote broader participation and financial inclusion among students across tertiary institutions in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Under the initiative, eligible students will have the opportunity to receive 10 shares at no cost, funded by the Aliko Dangote Foundation. To qualify, a student must purchase a minimum of 10 shares through the approved subscription channel. Upon successful verification of the student’s eligibility and subscription, the Aliko Dangote Foundation will provide the student with an additional 10 shares free of payment.

The initiative is intended to provide students across Nigeria’s tertiary institutions with an opportunity to become shareholders and, more broadly, to encourage early participation in Nigeria’s capital market.
